But wait a minute, there is a twist! “We are very excited to be auctioning Mini- Storage Units at our booth this year”. says A Plus Storage Property Manager, Allen Baxter.
A Plus Storage has teamed up with local businesses to raise funds for a live Christmas tree to be planted at the beautiful, new Nolensville Town Hall. This tree will become the focal point to the annual holiday tree lighting ceremony. “The lighting of the Christmas tree is a great family tradition in Nolensville,” explained Town Events Chair Suzie Lindsey. “Now that we have a New Town Hall, placing a new tree in front of it will be a year-round reminder of one of the things that makes Nolensville special. The opportunity to raise funds for a new tree is exciting.” The tree will be purchased locally from Nature’s Best Nursery located on Nolensville Road. Nature’s Best is donating the labor to plant the tree as well. Mayor Alexander and his staff have approved the donation. Additional funds raised will be donated to the Historic Society’s Recreation Center project.
Allen adds “I guarantee you will find some great finds in these units!” Prizes that are up for bid include a one night stay at the quaint, historic Homeplace Bed & Breakfast. Oliver’s Doggy Daycare has donated a Doggy Spa Package. Other treasures to bid on include a Cece’s Yogurt party for five, gift certificate, and an Amish built child’s rocking chair from The Nolensville Feed Mill. “I cannot believe how generous our local businesses have been with this project. It is our community coming together for fun, a chance to win a great prize and raising money for a cause that is dear to all of us. Bring your friends, family and cash out for a great cause and to participate in “Charity Storage Wars”. Allen concluded.
The Buttercup Festival is Saturday April 14th 2012 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. in the Nolensville Historic District. Auction times will be posted at the A Plus Storage booth and on their Facebook page.
